Thunder

Semi-hanging with Tiny, waiting for people. We're watching Tropic Thunder. I seem to remember I didn't like it much but the trailer with black RDJ is just more than I can resist. I mean, who would not want to see that? I don't know. Someone strange.

What else have we done today? I started reading Into the Wild. As anticipated, my eyes started watering before I even opened the book. It has the Everest-effect on me. Then, I actually made it to spinning class and it was a good day for spinning, as it turns out. Good for me. More... it's been really sunny. Spring sunny. Open jacket, hat off still too hot sunny. Totally acceptable.

Spent the rest of the day up until now drawing and re-drawing on this never-ending project (click to embiggen). Every time I think I've had it and to hell with it it gives me a little something and then I have to keep going.
























My current issue is with the water. Earlier today the water was done but then I changed the shade of highlights elsewhere and I had to redo it and now it wont work.

Anyway, Karin is bringing me Salmiakki. That had nothing to do with anything.

I had a mind to write a little review on Season of the Witch but it'll have to wait until another day because the thought of Salmiakki has chased most of the judgment out of me.

What do you know. Salmiakki had a place in all of this, after all.
